Before you can apply for loads

Create an Owner Driver or Fleet Carrier account, confirm your email and complete your profile and required document checks. Registration alone does not unlock load applications.
After approval, activate eligible HGV access from your account. The free period starts on activation, not while you wait for document approval. Your account must remain eligible and your required documents current.
Search Find Loads, review a suitable posting and apply. The company reviews applications and decides which to accept; applying is not an award of work. Confirm the movement and commercial terms before committing.

HGV load search: common questions

Who can apply for HGV loads?

Owner Drivers and Fleet Carriers with approved verification and eligible, active marketplace access can apply. Choose the role that matches your operating business. Companies post freight; a Driver account does not provide independent carrier access.

Which documents should carriers prepare?

Owner Driver: driving licence, Driver CPC card, digital tachograph card, goods vehicle operator licence, motor insurance and goods in transit insurance. The dashboard shows the required checks and expiry dates; legal exemptions depend on your operation and must be resolved during review.

Fleet Carrier: operator licence, business identity evidence, motor insurance and goods in transit insurance. Employers’ liability insurance is conditional on employing staff; VAT evidence is optional where applicable. Driver checks remain separate. Keep documents current and follow the requirements shown for your account.

When do the 12 free months start?

The 12 calendar months start after email confirmation, required document approval and account activation. No payment card is required and this offer creates no automatic charge. Signing in or retrying activation does not restart the period. Existing accounts use a reviewed migration that preserves any longer access already granted.

Does registration guarantee suitable loads?

No. Results depend on active postings and your search criteria. Verification and free access do not guarantee a load, a company's acceptance or earnings. Check the actual job and agree freight prices and payment terms directly with the contracting business.
