Cookie Policy

When enabled in the Production environment, Houlvek uses privacy-focused first-party analytics to understand aggregate page views, referral sources, approximate country, browser, operating system and device category. This measurement does not use cookies, persistent identifiers or cross-site tracking, and Houlvek does not use it to create advertising profiles. The analytics provider uses a temporary request-derived visitor hash and discards the visitor session identifier after 24 hours.

Separately, registration and discovery tools may store a fixed acquisition-source category, such as Google or direct, in this browser's session storage under houlvek:registration-source. This category can be stored independently of the optional Google Analytics choice. It contains no account identifier, raw campaign URL or form contents and remains for the browser page session, subject to browser settings. Clearing the analytics choice does not automatically remove it.

If Google Analytics 4 is enabled for this website and you choose Allow analytics, Houlvek uses Google's analytics service to understand acquisition sources and page visits. Before that choice, and after Essential only, the website does not load the Google Analytics tag or send Google Analytics measurement requests. Your choice is optional and does not affect access to the service. Analytics permission is separate from account terms and marketing choices.

Google receives page-view information, browser and device information, approximate location derived from the connection, and pseudonymous browser and session identifiers. Houlvek supplies public page paths and titles, referral origins and campaign labels, but not account identities, form contents, URL query strings, fragments or private record identifiers. Houlvek uses consent for this optional measurement. Google Signals and advertising personalisation signals are disabled; this integration does not add advertising tags.

With analytics permission, Houlvek also measures registration completion, eligible Company access observed in the dashboard, and first and repeat load publication. These events include fixed role and acquisition-source categories; the Company-access event also records that access was observed. They do not include account or load identifiers. After permission, this browser stores opaque deduplication markers in local storage under houlvek:commercial:v1:<hash>. These markers have no application-set expiry and remain until removed by you or your browser. Clearing site data or using another browser or device can allow an event to be reported again. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future measurement; it does not automatically delete these markers.

Google Analytics uses the first-party cookies _ga and _ga_<stream-id> to distinguish browsers and maintain session state. Houlvek configures these cookies for this hostname, with a maximum lifetime of 180 days and without extending their lifetime on each page view. Browser settings may shorten that period. The existing cookieless measurement described above operates separately and is not enabled or disabled by the optional GA4 choice.

Choose Essential only or Clear notice choice in Privacy Choices to withdraw permission. Houlvek disables the tag, clears these GA4 cookies and reloads the page when the tag has already been initialised, so its running code is removed. Save unfinished work before changing this choice. Withdrawal stops future optional measurement; it does not itself delete information already received by Google. Choices apply to this browser and website hostname.
